Weight Loss at Home

Working out does not have to take place in the gym or involve fancy equipment. If you have a floor, you can get a very effective workout. Exercise circuits like the one below are all over the internet and easy to come by. Although a bit ambitious in its claim to burn 1,000 calories, I love this workout because it uses compound exercises, which involve a lot of different muscle groups. More muscles used equates to higher calorie burn! If you are short on time, don’t waste it doing bicep curls (one of your smallest muscle groups)! Drive up the intensity level by adding ankle or wrist weights, elevating your feet for incline push-ups, coming up to your toes when you rise from the squats, or substituting the crunches with 60-90 second planks.
