Before Your Treatment
The first step in your laser hair removal in the Tri Cities, WA is a consultation with one of our highly trained providers. They will examine the area you want to treat to ensure you are a good candidate for the treatment. During this time, they will also look at your skin and hair type to better tailor the treatment to you.
If you are determined to be an ideal candidate, we will ask that you stop all waxing and plucking for a few weeks before treatment. On the day of your treatment, we ask that you arrive having just shaved the areas being treated.
What Areas Can Be
Treated
Almost any area with hair can be treated. Some of the most common permanent hair removal areas for women include the upper lip, chin, face, bikini/Brazilian, legs, underarms, abdomen, and toes. For men, common areas are beard, ears, neck, back, chest, and hands.

How the Treatment Works
The heat will enter the hair follicle and safely burn it. This leads to the hair follicle disintegrating and any unwanted hair attached to it falling off. Because the follicle is the root of the hair, once it is destroyed, there will no longer be any new hair growth from the follicle for years to come. After the heat is delivered to the area, a second cooling blast is delivered to cool the area. This cycle is repeated across the treatment area.
After Your Laser Hair Removal Treatment
Once the treatment is complete, you may experience some bruising, swelling, and tenderness in the surrounding skin, which should vanish in a few hours. Some results will be visible right away, while more clear results will be seen in the first few weeks. In order to achieve ideal and permanent results, it is recommended that you undergo six to eight treatments over the course of several months.
